Do you earn tips? The OBBBA law lets you deduct up to $25,000
Under the OBBBA law, workers in occupations that customarily receive tips may deduct up to $25,000 of qualified tips on their federal return — even if they don't itemize.
The deduction phases out at higher incomes, and the tips must be properly reported. Cash tips, card tips and tip-sharing all count if they are reported correctly.
If you work in a restaurant, salon, delivery or any tipped job, this deduction can make a real difference in your refund. We check it on every return.
Bring your W-2 or 1099 and your tip records — message or call (770) 986-7880 to book your appointment.
